On 27th February 2024, the SWITCH project held its virtual kick-off meeting, marking the formal launch of an initiative aimed at fostering virtual exchange opportunities across Europe. The event was organized by EIA – Ensino e Investigação e Administração SA from Portugal, which serves as the project coordinator. The meeting brought together representatives from all the project partners, including ASSOCIATION CULTURAL INTEGRA, NVO INTEGRITET, University College Beder, ECSA Kosovo, and Stichting yEUth, who all took part in presenting their organisations as well as their responsibilities within the project. The agenda covered a broad range of topics, focusing on the project’s key objectives, planned activities, and deliverables.
During the meeting, partners reviewed several work packages (WPs), which are central to the project’s structure. These included WP1, which covers project management and coordination, and WP2, focusing on platform adaptation for virtual exchanges. Other discussions centred on WP3, which involves implementing and testing the virtual exchange activities, and WP4, which is dedicated to dissemination and exploitation strategies. The brainstorming session for the project’s logo was a collaborative effort, highlighting the creativity and engagement of all partners. The meeting concluded with a presentation of the project timeline, financial management processes, and an open discussion where participants shared insights and evaluated the meeting’s effectiveness. This kick-off meeting established a clear roadmap for the SWITCH project’s activities, setting the stage for its next steps in promoting virtual learning and exchange across Europe.
